I have only had my Goldwing for a short while. I didn't remove my battery during cold weather, and it is deae. Do I have to remove the seat to remove the battery? I checked my owners manual, but could find nothing about how to remove the battery. Can it be charged while on the bike? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Remove the right side cover (it just pulls off), and the battery retaining strap, and the battery can be pulled out. Make sure you disconnect the ground FIRST before the Positive - and the reverse when reinstalling - positive first, THEN the ground.

Also be careful of the electrolyte - it's powerful sulfuric acid - it's a very good idea to wear eye protection when handling car/motorcycle batteries.

You can charge the battery while it is in the bike if you wish - but if a battery is dead (or has a dead cell), charging it is not going to help. I'd suggest looking into a Battery Tender Jr. to help keep your new battery alive.
