1995 GL1500 Aspencade Cornering Lights

Postby jqtandberg » Sun Jan 09, 2011 11:07 pm

I just bought a 1995 GL1500 20 Year Anniversary Aspencade. This bike has cornering lights but they do not work. The previous owner did not know anything about them. When are they supposed to turn on? Thanks in advance.

My 1995 Interstate has cornering lights and they come on and go off with the left and right signal lights.

I have a 1992 Aspencade. The cornering lights on it come on and go off automatically with the turn signals. The salesman at the dealer thought they were driving lights (so did I, actually), and neither of us could find the switch to activate them. The service tech showed me that they were cornering lights that come on and turn off with the turn signals (I felt rather foolish)...lol

If they are cornering lights, then they must come on when you lean the bike over in a corner!! :D Your just not leaning enough, go out and try going faster..
Just kidding, they usually go on with the indicators...

I installed a jumper that came with a replacement set. They now are running lights.

Hmm...where did you get the replacement set with the jumper? Did the wiring directions come with the set?
