1992 GL1500A, Clutch Handle Ajustments

Postby mlovelace » Mon Apr 11, 2011 8:27 am

I have a GL1500A and the clutch handle needs some adjustment. It has just a little of slack, just enough to cancel the cruise control. I have searched the forms and the manuals, but don't see where to make the adjustment. This appears to gave a little slack in the cable connected to the handle.

There is no cable. 1500s have a hydraulic clutch and no adjustment. There is a bushing in the clutch lever where the pivot bolt goes thru that can wear causing excess free play. Might need to be replaced. Honda part #22885-MBO-006, #3 on the parts diagram.
