I had very good luck with the stock Yuasa, But thats like asking someone there favorite color, I think you will find many different preferences from others.

I like this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Deka-ETX18L-Powersports-AGM-Battery-100-NEW-/270282483071?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&hash=item3eee17657f The only gripe I have with it is you need to use the little adapter things for the cables.

The gel batteries are for sure the best way to go. Should be able to find one at your local accy shop for under $100

Walmart sells a nice one for $50. Works well with 140 amp alternator.

I have a Comp-U-Fire battery that is 6 years old right now. It was $124 bucks at the time. Worth it to me.

I like the WestCo, which is a sealed AGM. Never have to check the liquid level and I tend to get 5-6 years on them. http://www.westcobattery.com and they usually have free shipping.

I am considering a Big Crank ETX18L Battery for my 93 SE. Does anyone have experience with this brand?

I have used OEM Yuasa batteries since purchasing my bike new, but Yuasa replacement batteries cost over $100 and the Big Crank is $90.

I hear the the big crank is a good battery, Just make sure You buy the Tony Weiner signature series, Kidding aside I,ve heard they are a pretty good battery.

Interstate is a good battery. When stator was replaced in wing the interstate battery was also replaced. Put it in my allis chalmer tractor last year and it has not let me down.
