How hard is the trip meter knob to replace on a 1500?

Easy way out may be to superglue unless you have a spare part.

Check with Sam Turner in Holiday Florida at 813 527 1610 he has a garage where he parts out nothing but 1500's all kinds...I got a knob for mine there from him, he keeps super inventory right on his phone,
give em a call he will tell you most likely right on the phone if he has any left...
