1993 - I think it is old enough to smoke. And it drinks also.

When I poke my shoulder,knee,elbow,and head,it hurts...Someone said it's my finger. :D

If it smokes after being on the side stand overnight, don't poke it,center stand it.

Two options:

1) Always park it on the centerstand.

2) If using the side stand, after stopping the bike and shutting it off, hold it upright for a minute or so while you take off your gloves, unbuckle your helmet, unzip your jacket, knock the ashes out of your pipe  etc etc before leaning the bike over onto the stand. This will give the oil a chance to drain back into the pan, rather than looking for an opportunity to sneak into places where it will burn when you start it up again.

Have fun. Ron in MI

My '91 smokes if my last ride was a short trip. I'm told the engine hadn't heated up enough. If not fully warmed up, oil will seep into the cylinder heads and engine smokes when started. If driven for a good 20 minutes, no smoke the next time I start it up. When it does smoke, it doesn’t smoke for that long so it doesn’t bother me (as long as there’s no Harley guys around). 8-)

My 93 has never smoked except for the one time I over filled it.
