speedo/odometer
All of a sudden, my speedo & odometer & of course, cruise control quit on my 1991 Goldwing 1500. Where should I start?

Speedo drive/cable........

Re: speedo/odometer
I had the same thing happen, it turned out to be a broken speedometer cable.

Re: speedo/odometer
The cable is the easiest thing to check. If not the cable it might be the drive gear on the wheel.

Re: speedo/odometer
My speedo isn't out yet (well might be, haven't driven it....) but when i removed the wheel mounting (phillips) screw, the hole it goes in cracked apart and only the top 1/3 is left. it went on but barely holds. do I need to replace whole thing? where to get and what part # do I need? hard to look up anything w/ just a smartphone....
