1500 SE display

The digital display on my Wing has developed some half moon degradation, one from either side of the display. They are most of the way up each side and come out about 1 1/2 " in a half moon shape. What could cause this and can I fix it?

It's caused when the LCD panel delaminates at the edges, and there is no fix - the only "fix" is to replace the LCD itself. It will only get worse.

Thanks WingAdmin but I was hoping for a brighter outlook. Are these still available do you think and if so what would you say they would cost and how much of a project?
Thanks for you input.

I see it listed at Cyclemax for $466 (see item 15) - so you're probably going to be better off finding a used one at a bike breaker or on eBay.
