Rear brake light switch

Hi All

Is there any way to check if the rear brake light switch is u/s, for some reason I no longer have brake light showing on the rear pedal, any advice will be grately recieved.

If you disconnect the rear brake light switch and short out the contacts in the connector (white/green wire to green/yellow wire), the brake light should come on. If it does, the problem is with the switch. If not, then the switch is likely OK, and you have a problem elsewhere.
