1997 Honda Goldwing se, carburetors

Postby 1bwbob » Sat Feb 04, 2012 12:08 pm

I just turned 50,000 miles on my 1997 goldwing.
My question is this a good time to have the carburetors rebuilt.

I'd be much more concerned about the age of the timing belts. The only reason to "service" the carbs is if you suspect contamination or the need to replace the vacuum lines.

"It´s a friggen motorcycle, it´s not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you s**t your pants every now and then. "
