Getting Anxious

Postby tilson » Mon Feb 06, 2012 9:23 am

My 88 1500 trike has been in the shop since last Aug. It runs rough at low rpm's but runs great above 2000 rpm's. We have had an unusually warm winter and I have missed a lot of riding time. My mechanic says he is working hard to find the problem and he is doing this part time. I'm not a motorcycle mechanic, but It seems like a vacuum leak to me.

Have a look at this post.It has solved many problems with the 1500 carb issues.Just remember that they are much more difficult to r & r than the 1000,1100 and 1200 carbs.viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9356
