Battery removal GL1500 aspencade

Postby heavychevy » Wed Jan 06, 2010 10:08 am

I just sold my Valkyrie GL1500 and bought a 99 aspencade (eaiser on my old back) and it came with no owners manual. While I don't need a battery at this time I need to know how to access it just in case. If the seat has to come off to get to it like My Valkyrie can someone give me a how to on that. I want to become more familiar with this bike but there is just so much bodywork I can't see anything. Thanks in advance

You can download a 1989 owner's manual here, on the "Manuals" page - some things will be different, but a lot of things (like getting to the battery) will be the same. You might want to download the service manual as well, while you're at it.
