Postby neilrupp » Wed May 09, 2012 10:10 pm

My clock and trip meter resets when the ingnition is turned off. When I turned the ingnition on the clock and tripmeter are allready reset before pressing the starter button. It's allready set to 1:00 and zero.I have installed a new battery but no help. Thanks for your help, Neil

Did you check all the fuses? The 1200 has a separate fuse for the memory of the clock and radio presets. Might also work with the trip set.

There's usually two things that cause this problem. The first is fuse #22, the battery "always on" fuse. The other is a bad battery - if, when starting, a weak battery's voltage dips down far enough, it can reset the clock and tripmeter.
