Most who run car tires on the rear are using the Battleaxe on the front. They also make a Michelin for front use with a car tire on the rear.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

I use an OEM Bridgestone 709 on my 07 with a Michelin Alpin on the rear.

709s are in short supply. I just ordered the only one that Shinnhopples in NY had in stock.

I have a Dunlop run flat on the rear and a Battleaxe rear on the front. So far so good. No ill effects or problems. I'm going to the Wingding this coming week. Its about a two hour drive. We'll see.
