Hi Way pegs

Post by docgood » Tue Jul 03, 2012 2:21 am

Can any one give some advice on Hi Way pegs for the long trips with the GL 1800.
It looks like the knees will have to be pretty well spread around the radiators to
get the feet onto them and then is it comfortable? I stand about the 5'11" mark
so would the 4 1/2 " be the suitable, rather than the 6".
Is the riders back-rest recommended by the experienced in conjunction with the pegs?

I am 5'10" and had the 6" but now have the 4 1/2". I like the 4 1/2" better. As a matter of fact I would love to try the 2". A lot of people my size say that full floorboards prevent them from putting their feet on the ground.

I'm 6'4" and I installed the Ergo II on my 2001 and they work great, just got back from a 1,600 mile trip and couldn't imagine making a trip like that without them.

I `m 5 11 and installed the same and I had 6 in arms and I still having leg problems and they are not comfortable to me so I`m looking for a different kind of set up so I can get the pegs back further to me so that I`m not streached as much , so may have to attach these pegs to my floor boards so I can set them at the right place for me
