Not sure where this should go so it's here - Windshield

Postby motorhead1977 » Sun Jul 15, 2012 4:22 pm

I am looking to replace the shield on my 09 GL1800 and thinking of the V Stream Special Edition. My concern is that by moving the air flow away from the rider/passenger it will make warm weather riding even warmer (i.e. HOT). Anyone have one and what can you tell me about that. Lot of money to spend so I want to be sure I will not be putting myself in the "easy bake" oven by switching. Thanks.

If you don't have them already you might get a set of wind wings. They will allow you to direct the airflow inside when needed. The airflow can be directed on the body instead of the head and face. Much cooler when the temps are very hot.

I have the vent in the wind shield and love it.. It can be closed in cold weather, and opened in hot weather, no negatives to it!! Just positives.. :D
