FLAG POSTS PUNCTURES

Postby targhee dick » Tue Aug 21, 2012 4:59 pm

IF YOU GUYS ARE LIKE ME, I DON'T CARE TO PUT THE COVER ON MY TRIKE FOR THIS REASON. THE FLAG POSTS ARE ABOUT TO COME THROUGH, EVEN WITH SOME EXTRA MATERIAL ON THE COVER. HERE IS MY SOLUTION, GIVE IT A TRY. I TOOK TWO SMALL, ABOUT THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL, RUBBER BALLS AND CUT A SMALL HOLE IN THEM. WHEN I GET READY TO PUT MY COVER ON NOW, I JUST SLIP ONE ON EACH FLAG POST AND PUT THE COVER ON, WA-LAH NO MORE STRESS ON THE COVER. WHEN I TAKE THE COVER OFF, I JUST PUT THEM IN THE SAME BAG AND AWAY I GO. THOUGHT THAT THIS MIGHT SAVE SOME OF YOU SOME MONEY IN COVER REPAIRS. KEEP THE SHINNEY SIDE UP. REMEMBER "STUPID HURTS"

Great idea. Can be used on a lot of applications.
The GL1800 is a crotch rocket on Steroids.
