IDK but I would pop out the left faring pocket and look under there. That's where it was always located before the 12's came out.

Why not just do it the cheap and easy way? Load your music onto a USB drive and plug it into the connector in the trunk. I did that for my friend who has a 2012 and it works great.

Re: 2012 no audio connector in glove box
I have a 2012 GL1800 Candy Red Goldwing comfort nav abs xm and received an audio connector in package with owners manual, simply remove left fairing pocket (the push button one) and locate the aux connector, plug it in and run it through the hole in the bottom of the fairing pocket. Plug in your mp3 player and you're all set.

I cannot see Honda using a different wiring harness for different levels of motorcycle, so, what you are likely missing is the patch connector that plugs into the harness. I would check with your dealership and see if one could be ordered. Expect to pay a premium for it. A suggestion above, to use a USB thumbdrive, would probably come in at about the same cost.BAdkins wrote:again...no connection uder the box on level one GL1800 2012

Re: 2012 no audio connector in glove box
It's there! I have a 2012 level 1 and the audio and power connectors are still in the left side. You may have to dig into the connector covers to find them. One is white and the other red. One with 3 wires (audio) and one with 2 wires (power). I have my Zumo 660 connected to them. I had a spare cable since the level 1 does not come with the aux cable. You can buy yhem from Honda or Electrical Connections.

Re: 2012 no audio connector in glove box
I purchased the audio cable with the factory connector (non Honda) and found the connection within the left side after removing the box. I also installed a 12 volt receptical at the same time where I plug my Sirius radio for power and audio. works great. Only wish I could find the proper connections to hook my ham radio up now in place of a CB.BAdkins wrote:unless u have the Gps model...so how can I connect a mps player that does not work on docking station in trunk(non usb mp3 player)
