Is there any way to change the timming on when my turn signals turn off. There are times when I wish that they would stay on longer while in traffic. I don't want to disable the function, just have them stay on a little longer. I bhave a 2006 with 84,000 miles, just getting broken in.

I'm not aware of any adjustments that can be made, either by a wrench or computer.
Everybody knows that I don't have one,but from my past experience with automatic control systems....Thats the way there programed and cannot be changed.
It is usually a programed timing function of the canceler circuit.

The signals remain on from a minimum of 8 seconds to infinity, depending on the speed you are moving. The timers are programmed into the circuit just as virgilmobil suggests. I sometimes need more time, too, so I have just gotten into the habit of pressing the turn signal switch to add more time when needed.
