No Headlights

Postby PawPaw19 » Mon Dec 10, 2012 12:27 pm

2005 GL1800 I have no head lights. Checked all fuse and relays, all are good. Dont seem to be getting any power fron the ignition switch. Has any one had this problem. If so what is probable cause. Could it possiblt be a broken wire from the ignition, or possibly a badignition switch. Any help at all would be appreciated.

ohmmeter check the fuses!
the eye can be wrong!
relays can be burned, but little seen!
I think that's a detail!

Are you getting any power at all or just not from the ignition. Have you tested your battery to make sure its good?

Sometimes the problem is in the starter switch. the headlights cut out when it is pushed.

The GL1800 is a crotch rocket on Steroids.
