2008 GL1800 How to Wire additional lights

Postby Mato007 » Sun Mar 28, 2010 9:00 am

I am adding a Voyager kit to my 2008 GL1800. I need to be able to wire two additional fender lights for brakes, running and turn signals. How do I find where and what electrical components I can use to connect these light to my GL1800?
I saw the bad news about the manuels and I am a day late and a dollar short. I figured I could find what I needed from a manuel that is no longer available. I will contact Honda and express my opinion. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you pull the back panel where the license plate is located, you will find many wiring harnesses that contain the leads you are looking for; you could also purchase a plug and play trailer wiring harness that would give you the stop/turn/tail lights you are wanting, without any splicing or cutting of the factory wiring--- EC should have those in stock and they can sell you a 5 to 4 pin converter to make the job even easier.
