Headlight replacement

Post by tohlson » Mon Mar 29, 2010 8:59 am

I have a 2003 Goldwing 1800 and I need to replace the low beam headlight. I can reach in next to the steering column and remove th rubber cover and the plug, but how does the bulb come out. Do I rotate it, and if so which way, counter clockwise or clockwise? I ordered new bulbs on line and haven't gotten them yet, so I don't have them to look at to figure this out.

There is a wire retainer holding the bulb in...its hinged on one side, and needs to be moved out of the way to remove the bulb.
