changing the time on the clock

Postby Fred Blind » Sun Apr 11, 2010 12:30 pm

Well I am a new wing owner and I love it.
Just bought a 2005 1800 wing, with the time change I need to reset the clock.
Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Just press one of the buttons below the GPS navigator window. Right now, I can´t remeber which button but if you can´t find it just send me a message and I will check it up for you.
Good luck,
/Thomas

Thomas, he's got a 2005, which didn't come with the Nav unit...there is a setup button just below the lcd panel where the clock displays---hit this button, and it will cycle through a few different settings, one of them is the clock, and it becomes pretty self-explanatory at that point.

BTW, a gps nav equipped unit will set the time automatically based on the gps satellites...if your clock is wrong on a nav equipped bike where the nav is working (that is, it's not complaining about bad gps reception), it's because the bike is set for the wrong time zone, and you'll need to make that setting change in the gps menu using the control panel located on the right side of the fairing (this panel doesn't exist on non-nav bikes).
