wind deflectors

Postby John S » Thu Jun 06, 2013 10:35 am

Hello,
Just bought a new to me 07 Goldwing. I've ordered the ergo 2 highway pegs and also want to use lower wind deflectors to redirect heat from the side grills (side fairings).
The reviews for the various deflectors from people who have purchased from online stores have mentioned that these add on deflectors interfere with using highway pegs.
Does anyone have an opinion for which company has the best wind deflector that wouldn't get in the way of using highway foot rests?
Thanks for your help.

John S.

My goldwing come with them and they do not interfere with met pegs. I like them to take wind away or to add some wind on hot days.

The wings should install above where your legs would be when using highway pegs. Check out some pics. That should give you an idea.

I agree get some pictures, talk to people who have them. I have the ones from Kury on mine. They move the wind on or off depending on the postion, do not interfere with the pegs, and have a nice clean look. Everyones taste are different though, and they are not cheap so dont jump into it without getting as much information on as many different brands as possible before you buy anything.
