Service Manual for 2012/13

Postby wallybee43 » Fri Jul 05, 2013 4:54 pm

I'm looking for an electronic Service/Shop manual for the 2013 Goldwing. By this I mean either a Manual on CD/DVD or an Online downloadable file. My dealer says that Honda has never made an electronic version but I had one for my '06 and most of that should apply to the '13 year but the body panels and how to take them apart are quite different. The dealer wants to sell me a paper manual for 155 bucks. Like I don't want an anchor. If I can download the file to my laptop or iPad that would be much better than packing along a whole bunch of paper that weights a ton!

There is an awful lot that is not the same from the 2006 to the 2013, although nothing important, such as engine, tranny etc. The tupperware removal is probably the main change. Essentially, the bike is probably the same. I will PM you a location to download a manual for a 2001 to 2005 if you wish. Other than that, ebay is probably the best source of a 2006 to 2010 manual on disk. One for your bike will not likely be available yet, and the paper ones are big and heavy. If you break down and want one of them, then Helm.inc is probably the best place to get it.

Thank you for your post themainviking!

As I said in my post I have a DVD service manual for the '06 and have downloaded it to my laptop. As far as drivetrain/frame is concerned this will do the job on the '13. It is the body panels and electrical setup that I want a new manual for! It is annoying to me that Honda is supposedly trying to be "green", but still insists on on selling me this huge hunk of paper that I do not want.

Thanks agin for your post
