i know the bags on a 1500 can be adjusted, a friend was talking to me about it a couple weeks ago so i don't see why 1800 bags couldn't be adjusted

yep there is . Ther is a plastic cover over the latches inside on top of the bag I think four philp head screws take it off you'll see the latches and a switch. Let me guess it's the left bag ?? they were a problem. don't be surprized if you adjust it and it needs it again. I find my moves out of adjustment as the temps get higher in summer than fall back the other way. I now have found a middle ground but it took some time. Sally
