new to wing questions

Postby doctorofpain » Tue Sep 10, 2013 8:03 pm

Just got a 2006 GL1800 comfort audio model and have a question --- Since it's still 100 plus here I have not used the heated grips so as far as daily driving goes they suck! Any fix for this without losing the heat option?
Thanks

Any fix for what??? You need to actually let us know how the heated grips suck. If you mean for gripping, then yes, Kuryakyn makes an overgrip that fits right over your stock grip to make it quite a bit larger to grab onto.

Turn them off. ;)

But I guess that is not the problem you are having with the grips....

You can also get a foam cover for the grips that make them a lot more comfortable. They're called Grip puppies and they make those grips a lot more comfortable and when needed let the heated grips work.

Sorry about that -- they are to skinny but the Kuryakn over grips looks like a good fix -- thanks for the info

The grip puppies will enlarge your grip area the same as the Kurys but when needed will let a lot more heat through. And those stock grips are anemic for a large touring bike.
