Ghost Shifting

Postby cact57s1 » Wed Oct 23, 2013 7:02 pm

After researching the shifting from 5th to 4th on it's own and finding out the gears might be the problem or rather how they are machined, I was wondering if anyone has had the problem fixed by some one other than a dealer and who did the work. A member Goldwinggreg talked to me about this problem and the things he said make sense to me. I don't want to use the dealer and put stock gears in have the same problem. Can anyone give me info? THANKS
