J&M sells a set of replacement speakers: ... GL18&PF=32

They also sell a kit to add speakers to the rear (many early model wings didn't have the rear speakers installed---I think it was an option, but became standard equipment in 2006 with the premium audio): ... GL18&PF=32

Electrical Connection sells some too---

Fronts: ... 5&valk.htm

Rear Kits: ... gl1800.htm

I've heard good things about the J&M units, as well as the polk units from EC...If you go to the open market and try to find a 5" speaker to fit, just check about water resistance.

You can also add amplifiers to your audio system; EC makes an amp kit, I dunno about J&M...the 06+ bikes have an 80 watt amp and tweeters in the front along with the main fairing speakers.

If you go over to and look for a guy named LarryM, he has been offering a modification to the older 1800 radios to add more power to them---he is an electronics tech and his solution seems to be tested and solid.
