help!! replacing rear speakers 2010 goldwing

do you really have to tear the hole bike down just to replace the rear speakers? any help would be GREATLY appreciated.......

Nahhhh. The front of the arms where the screen speaker covers are pop off and you have access right there. Unscrew and unplug the old, and plug in and rescrew the new. I used Polk Audio db501s. I had to cut the holes to the edge of the speaker backs to get the screws to fit. I used side cutters to take out the excess metal. This left slots rather than holes, but at least the screws fit in.

What's wrong with the original speakers? What am I missing here?
