Anybody interested in a slightly damaged Wing

Postby stewey » Sun Dec 01, 2013 9:11 am

My 20120 Yellow Goldwing had the unfortunate experience of being the landing spot of my garage wall when the Nov 17th tornado took out my house. I thought you guys would be interested in seeing the pics - no need to cry, I already did.

It also got my Versys

and the house didn't far any better.

If you're interested in either - you'll have to talk to Country Insurance, I've already been paid for them.

Wow that is very sad to see. Hope you weren't injured.

When did that happen? Don't always hear all the USA news here.

An EF4 tornado went through the town of Washington IL on November 17. Two dead, over 100 injured. Over 500 homes destroyed and another 1000 or do damaged. We were in basement and were not hurt.No info on how to try and buy either bike. Try contracting Country Financial insurance in Bloomington IL. If I can get more info I will post here next week.

Our insurance company has been awesome - surprisingly most of the major ones were set up with emergency service support and cutting checks less than 24 hours later. Mine - Country (Financial) not to be confused with Country Companies - has done a simply amazing job of removing one potential source of stress for us. Demolition of the house starts tomorrow and rebuilding starts as soon as the building permit gets approved.

Glad to hear your family is alright, any thought of possibly having a tornado shelter for the bikes? yeah I know its possibly impractical but its just a thought. that is really scary living where tornados are, the odds are you may never actually be in one but still....
