GAS GAUGE AND LOW GAS LIGHT

I JUST BOUGHT A 2008 GOLDWING RODE FOR 2 DAYS AND NOW THE GAS GAUGE AND LOW GAS LIGHT DOES NOTHING SHOWS BELOW EMPTY .
ALSO IS 54225 MI HIGH MILAGE FOR A GOLDWING

No idea about the gauge and light but that mileage means that the bike is just bareley broken in.

Are you saying that nether the gauge or light work ? If so check the connection under the seat to the gas tank/ gas gauge.

As for the mileage, add a 2 to the front of your mileage before you can consider it high. Many,Many gl1800s out there with 6 digits on the odometer and still running strong.

All the indicator lights will come on as a test when you turn the ignition on. Does the fuel light come on then? If not the bulb may be burned out.
