reverse gear slipping - 2005 GL1800

Postby cmwagner » Sat May 03, 2014 11:43 am

Hi

I have a 2005 GL1800 and the Reverse Gear is slipping when using it under any condition to reverse. Can anyone advise me what the problem could be and how I can fix it.

Thanks

Colin

Probably just stretched cables from the actuator.
The adjusters are located under the right chrome cover. (just like the old brake cable adjusters)
The GL1800 is a crotch rocket on Steroids.

Thank you. I found a similar explanation on the Forum. I will definetely have a look at that first. This Forum is awesome, specifically for us here in South Africa.

Cheers
