Canadian and Australian 2nd GL1800 brake recall

Postby mcbrown » Sat Sep 06, 2014 2:21 pm

I found this article on the web which relates to a brake recall in August 2014. I thought this had already been dealt with in 2011. I had mine checked in the initial recall and then it failed 1000km later. What do you know about this. Have they found some other problem?

I have just spoken to my Goldwing dealer and he said they received an email from Honda Australia today stating that they were waiting to see what happens in the US. They have no plans to recall here yet and if it is to happen it will come as government directive and an official letter will be sent out.
