Does the bulb pull out or twist off once the connector is removed?

I have changed several and it is a PITA. I just use my hand. Easy to get out I just have a hard time getting it back in (no wise cracks needed). Once you release the clip it just comes out. Watch the orientation of the bulb when you take it out so you know how to orient it when putting back in. Just be patient.

Also if its an 07 save yourself some frustration and take the extra 5 minutes and take the dash piece off. Youll give yourself more room to work with and it will be easier to see. Two tweeter wires and the main dash plug and the dash is off in no time.

When I had to do it, I seriously thought about selling the bike and buying a new one!! It's a real PITA to change the headlight bulbs.. Best of luck..

Don't let them discourage you...it wasn't that hard at all. I have pretty big hands and large diameter arms, and I was able to do it. Have a flashlight handy because you can shine it from above your arm and just see what you need to do in the small dark space you have to maneuver in. Make sure when you plug the wiring back into the new bulb that you have the plug oriented correctly. I turned on the lights after changing both the low-beam bulbs and thought the brand-new right-side bulb had immediately burned out, but when I looked in the cubby hole I saw that I had mis-aligned the plug, only putting it on one of the bulb spades (silly me...).
