2005 GW Music

Postby avinson4u » Mon Jun 07, 2010 9:12 am

I hate the sound of music coming from the wing. Does the Honda amp and subwoofer work? What other options are available to get better sound, Im looking for more power.

Check out these two sites for GL1800 speakers and amps:

Firstly, Honda doesn't make a subwoofer. Secondly you cannot install the honda amplifier on a pre 2006 bike.

I agree, check out wingstuff, directline, or J&M. You can find replacement speakers, as well as amplifiers. Check and see if you have the rear speaker option on your 05 bike---many earlier year bikes have the grilles for speakers, but there are no actual speakers behind the grille.

Thanks for feedback, I did not have speakers in the rear, so I got J & M speakers added to the rear, still not impressed. The amp and sub that are on Wingstuff will they work on the 2005??

The bazooka branded kits on wingstuff are labeled for 01-05, so I would say yes.
