Headset Audio and ICom

Postby Transplantedpatriot » Sat Mar 21, 2015 5:18 pm

Having an issue with audio on my '05 GL1800. When using the speakers, all audio works great but when I plug in my headset, nothing. I am getting the icon swap from speaker to headset when I push the audio button but that's it. Neither front nor back plugs are working. Checked the mute button, adjusted the volume all the way up, even tried another headset and nothing. I don't even get the little static noise when you first plug it in. Can't seem to find a diagram to check voltages and see if I'm even getting power. Any help would be greatly appreciated, my wife says she needs to be able to talk to me. Lol, I think that's funny.

Have you turned on the stereo or the ICom? You need them turned on as well as the Audio button. If you have turned them on, then ignore me, but it is amazing how often this happens with new to us wings. Let me know if you need a link to an owners manual and/or service manual.

Thanks for the info. It sure does seem like something simple, I'll try it tomorrow and make use I have them on.

The headphones also connected to the back, perhaps connecting cable?
