1800 gold wing radio?

Postby ranger 3 » Thu Jun 04, 2015 3:55 pm

My radio is stuck on one station, the only thing that will work on the handle bar is the mute button. On the radio the only thing that works is the volume knob, I am lost.

Disconnect negative battery post for 5 minutes and see if the audio unit doesn't reset. Other possibility is if a passenger PTT control is present and stuck in and it will lock up audio unit.

Did you press the audio button before the am or fm buttons? Audio must be on in order for the other sound items to work.

Have you had the top Shelter off? If so check all connections.

you might try contacting Larry at: http://www.wingconnect.com/
Carefully read his website to determine if your radio falls into the years he works on before contacting him to save him time.
