Pathfinder LED light bulbs

Postby crock4 » Fri Jun 19, 2015 3:59 pm

I was going to replace the brake, run, turn signal lights on my 2001 Goldwing with LED bulbs, and I have a question. Do I also need to replace the flasher? If so can someone tell me where to get the one I need?
By the way, the brand I was looking at is Pathfinder. Has anyone used these before, or have a suggetion for a better one?

Thanks Bob

Its not a flasher that ie needed. Head to the auto parts store and ask about an LED Ballast. They're not expensive but will equalize the resistance that the flasher unit is expecting to see (electronically).

There is another option from CycleMax.

Here is link: http://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/gl1800_ ... 120/166397

I used this and it works perfectly.

Supposedly by using the ballast you lose the voltage savings of utilizing LED bulbs. I for one would go with an LED flasher.
