Parts List 2008 GL1800

Postby johnnyjr » Fri Jul 23, 2010 8:43 pm

Where can I find and on-line parts list for a 2008 GL1800. I am looking for the part number for the Front Exhaust Pipe Protector. I damaged the right side and would like to replace it.
Thanks.

You can find a full parts fiche here:

http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_select1.a ... &mfg=Honda

I think the part you are looking for is honda part number 18317-MCA-A20

Here's the page in the fiche that shows that part and its numbers:

http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_section_d ... fveh=12120

You can even order the part from that site---their prices are some of the best I've found for most things.

It just occured to me you may be talking about the header cover itself way at the front...if that's the case, you need to mention whether or not your bike has the comfort package---it's a different part number depending on whether the header cover has the foot warmer vent in it or not...you can retrofit the one with the vents onto a non-comfort bike, but it really isn't worth the trouble (I have done this on my own bike, and had I not gotten the vented covers for free, it would have been very expensive to do so).

If you did mess up the header cover and are into chrome, either add-on or kuryakyn make a chrome set of header covers that are a direct replacement...not much more expensive than honda's either, except you'd be buying a pair instead of just one...
