2013 dash removal

New to the forum. with question regarding removal of dash on 2013 Goldwing. I am wanting to install a cig lighter(power supply) in the center glove box. thanks in advance

Would you not prefer to have the socket to be powered permanently, it will not drain the battery if nothing is left plugged in. It saves having the ignition key in to use it, and a and If you connect both - and + direct to the battery via a inline fuse near the battery, you can use it to plug in a battery charger. The dash panel just pulls up from the ignition, then pull both speaker covers towards you to free them up. The panel connector is just in front of the ignition, peel back the rubber covers to unplug the tweeters.
If at first you don't succeed, hide the evidence.
