My 2009 is out 6 at 120 with brand new tires. More when the tires get a few thou on em. It registers faster than what the bike is actually moving. Ergo, for 120, I set the cruise on 126.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

I thought Honda corrected that in 2012. Guess I'm wrong. On my 08 I put a 70 series tire on the rear to correct the speedo and odometer.
There are other ways to correct that and a few companies make devices to do it, here is one

all the 70 series tires I've found carry less weight. I ride two up and pull a trailer so no room for foolishness when it comes to tires
ill probably live with the difference or buy a speedo healer

I have a 2012 and the speedo is less than 1 mph according to my Zumo 660. That is with the stock Bridgestones..
My 2004 was about 6-7 mph low.

I am running the 70 series on my '02 for speedo correction.
Currently it is about 9000 miles on it ; and nearing it's useful life...
My next set will be the 60 series from Avon Cobras - I am not worried about the error causing any premature expiration on a warranty nor the error in calculating MPGs
I did like the way it handled better with the 60 series - although the extra 3/8" in height is nearly nothing.

No need to worry about the extra mileage on the warranty, Honda is 3 years unlimited miles. I have had a few friends that went with the 70 tire but said it was to hard to get off the center stand so they went back to the 60, that's why we have so many choices, different strokes for different folks, do what you feel comfortable with

I checked the Dunlops and 60 series is 77 and 70 series is 80 for a full load I would want the extra load rating

The 70 series is NOT Dual Compound --
Longevity may suffer in the name of speedo error correction

From what I see on the chart, the 60 series is 80 and the 70 series is 77.Also look at the load on both. The 60 is 992 lbs and the 70 is 910 lbs.

My '13 was dead on according to two different gps's with a 195x55x16. Now, according to the same 2 gps's the bike is going faster than it's speedo indicates with my new 195x60x16.
