Postby muv966 » Mon Jun 20, 2016 7:04 pm

Hello, new to this forum. A friend of mine brought me a 2001 1800 Gold wing. Has not run since Sept 2015. I have no spark and no fuel. Battery is new, fuse 17 is good.Swapped the EFI/FI relay (first row right end) Black wire is always hot.Black/white is hot key on and cranking No power to Yellow/black ,Red/white is hot key on and cranking. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I hate to offer this idea but did you check the kill switch. I won't admit where that idea came from...

Update on the no start. Found critter damage. They ate through the wires for the bank angle sensor. Bypassed that and now the fuel pump runs. Still no spark. Time to take the fairing off.

Bloody Nora, you must have some weird critters over there, so it climbed up into the fairing and chewed through cables, it might have eaten the BAS

If at first you don't succeed, hide the evidence.
