Remove center stand

Postby rcmotokris » Sun Aug 22, 2010 4:54 pm

I am having an issues loosening the bolts holding the center stand. The bolts are so tight that I am starting to strip the heads. I've spread the bolts to help loosening them. Did Honda use lock-tight on them? If so, what is the best way to get them off? Please let me know. Thanks Kris

I'd try an impact wrench, if you have access to one. I seldom find bolts that my impact wrench can't loosen.

I got it off. I did not realize the right bolt is a reverse thread. Thanks
