O2 sensor issues

Post by buckcacalli » Wed Jan 03, 2018 8:51 am

Hi all

I am very frustrated with my 2007 gl1800. I need to replace my o2 sensors. I ordered a set but once I installed them got an F1 light. I tried everything still get F1 light. So I ordered OEM sensor from Honda incase aftermarket one were different we when I received the Honda OEM sensor it was the exact same sensor as the aftermarket one. Now I know there are 2 part numbers for each side o2 sensor one is double the price but know one can tell what the difference between the two. Can anyone help me I’m extremely frustrated.

Assuming you have read the MIL blinks and traced the DTC to the O2 sensors. You may need to erase the DTC, but you need an SCS service connector. This is from a 2012-2017 manual and yours may be different. There are 48 pages covering the PGM-FI system.
