suspension Error (SUS ADG ERROR). Goldwing GL1800 2006

was attempting to change pressure of rear suspension. i received an error message that indicated sus adg error. can someone help me understand this, and make suggestions in order to correct the problem?

If one of the suspension relays fails it will cause an error. Or if the position sensor connector is not connected it will cause an error.

The system sends power through the relays to the motor to make it move, and then monitors the position sensor (POT) for a change in resistance. If no change in resistance occurs after a second or two, then an error will be displayed, and power to the motor removed (by turning off the main relay). This is done to save the motor and the wiring in case the motor jams for some reason.

You may have to disconnect the battery to clear the error message from the meter panel.
