Heated Grips

Postby RickG » Sat Dec 25, 2010 11:28 am

I just received some heated grips for my 2001 GL1800 and was wandering if there is a video tutorial on the installation. They are made by Show Chrome and the written instructions are very limited at best.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this will help however you may want to review the Steve Saunders website link for the subject.

I RickG :)

This slideshow is excellent, but the connection you have to go to the fuse box, unless you find a terminal to connect you if you had the original grip from Honda.
You have a picture or me I made the connection.

One more questions, does it require special glue for the grips or can I use something like Gorilla Glue?

I Rickg :D

You have to stick the handles with epoxy glue 5 minutes or 10 minutes if you find it you will have more time to adjust..

Put enough glue for the handle slides well in its place.

Important clean the glue that has the original Grip.
