If you can't find the actual value, a good (safe) value for potentiometers on line-level audio is 10K, audio taper.

I didn't think we had any pots in the 1800 audio system? They are a series of rotary switches that control the stereo.. You have to go through the menu to select fade, balance, volume, etc.. the knobs will rotate 100's of times, a pot only rotates 270 degrees (from min to max). As wingAdmin says 10K is a standard value for Audio applications, but unless you have an after market stereo system or amplifier, there is no fader control that works from a pot.
