hi fellow members, i am new to this site. I am picking up a 2001 gl1800 in the spring, any issues with that year of wing i should be aware up. I have included a pic of the bike and trailer, 39000 kms on the bike.

You would want to check & see if the Honda recalls have been taken care of. Recalls were for Frame Cracks & overheating problems. I believe the recalls were for 2001 thru 2004 models. But that is a nice looking bike. Good Luck!

From the looks of the picture, that is a good looking Wing. That said, the Wing is a great machine and does have some history in the early years.

Along with asking for maintenace records, you may want to look at some of reported issues for the early models. Don't get me wrong, its is a great machine and if these were addressed it will give you lots of enjoyment.
