check Brake Pads on a 2002 GL1800

Postby jwg1950 » Wed Mar 02, 2011 10:53 am

Is there any easy way to check out the Brake pad on a 2002 GL1800? It was easier to check on a 1500 GL. Anyidea?
Thanks

Without rotor covers, a really bright flashlight and looking up from below, just have to "wiggle" in with light and eyeballs. I haven't tried a dental mirror, but that's a thought!!! A lift helps. I used Bulldog lift it's the only one that goes up 24". Makes it easy to service bike.
Ride safe.

Naah-I'm smarter than that! A Big Dog is a custom motorcycle built to limit you to 50 mile trips before you have to get off to get the circulation in you butt going again!
